F1 visa, bank statement and balance?
Hi All, i applied for my us visa in july 31 and it got refused. the reason was i made a lump sum deposit of $30000 in july 1. the Vo refused me under such circumstance. The money is still in the account though no further deposits or withdrawals have been made as this has been set aside for my studies. only interest has been accumalated. I am reapplying for my visa in mid december. will it be an issue this time too? SHould i show more money? My total tuition fee + acc + food fee is only 24000$.|||well, you'd need a good explanation as to why you were suddenly able to make a $30,000 lump sum deposit into your account. that's a bit unusual to say the least. the fact that you haven't touched the money since doesn't hurt. but, it's hard to say how much that will really help. since you've already raised suspicions the first time around, it's likely you will be asked about it the next time as well. why do you feel you need to show more money?|||$30,000 is not enough money, when your Tuition is $24,000. You must show you have at least 3 times more money of tuirtion in your account as proof of sufficient fund for study.
