Travelling to the Bahamas what foods am I allowed to travel with from Canada?

Taking the family and have read that it is expensive to buy groceries on the island of Freeport. We will have to travel thru Customs and I know that fresh meats and fresh vegi's are not allowed but what about canned meats/fruit/vegi, kraft dinner etc?|||Check out the Canadian Border Services Agency for the list of things that you can import and export.

Leave the food at home and enjoy the experience of eating something NEW and DELICIOUS that you have never had before.

The reason people say that food in other countries is expensive is, they refuse to eat the LOCAL foods or those IN SEASON... and insist on having the same foods they have at home.... If you eat LOCAL foods when they are IN SEASON... they are not only delicious... they are also CHEAP.
