What about bonuses from the NAVY?

I am going up to MEPS for the 4th time tommrow and i want to know from an experienced person how you get your bonus...bc i know sometimes they can split it up 7K here 7K there but my perticular job i want has a 20,000 dollar sign on bonus and its a lump sum...does thta mean i get it right after i get outa of AIT??? how do i get paid while im gone as boot camp and AIT? i get paid bi weekly and i get E1 pay since my rank hasnt gone up right?%26gt; and i fill out a direct deposit and it goes right in my account right? anyone from experince let me know|||You get your bonus after your "A" school. If you are getting 20K, you get half up front and the other half in payments every month. You will get E-1 pay for 9 months until you automatically get E-2 and then wait another 9 months you'll get E-3 pay automatically unless you get in trouble. Every pay in the military is direct deposit.|||Navy has A school


Bonuses are paid out AFTER you finish ALL schools and have reported to your first duty station. you submit the paperwork and it can take about 30 days to be paid out. It will be taxed between 28-32%.
